School Uniform

We want children to be proud of their school and to wear the correct uniform, including the school sweatshirt or fleece at all times (or the correct colour polo shirt). The uniform is simple, but smart. It helps the children to identify with each other and with our local community.  

Branded & Non-Branded Uniform

Children are encouraged to wear either branded uniform or non-branded items, as long as they follow our uniform guidelines below.

 Non-branded items can be purchased from any local supermarket.

Pre-loved Uniform

We encourage families to reuse and recycle pre-loved uniform. We have a pre-loved uniform area in our school lobby. We ask for a small donation for items taken, but if this is not possible - please just let us know. 

Uniform Guidelines

Everyday Uniform

 At Camps Hill, children are expected to wear the following. This uniform is not gender specific:

• White or red polo shirt (logo optional)
• Black or grey trousers, dress, shorts, knee length skirt or culotte
• Red checked/striped summer dress
• Red sweatshirt, cardigan or fleece (logo optional)
• Grey or black tights (leggings can be worn under a skirt but not in replacement for trousers)
• Grey, black or white socks
• Sensible black school shoes

PE & Swimming Kit

PE Kit: 

• Branded Camps Hill PE t-shirt or plain white t-shirt
• Jogging bottoms or leggings - black or red
• Shorts - black or red
• Jumper or fleece, or Camps Hill Hoodie
• Trainers
• Earrings must be removed or covered with tape (provided in class)

Swimming Kit:

• One-piece costume or trunks (no bikinis or Bermuda shorts)
• Towel
• Long hair must be tied back or covered with a swimming hat

Early Years

Children may wear plain black leggings or jogging bottoms. 

Accessories

Accessories are optional and not required. 

• Book Bag
• PE Bag
• Cap
• Woolly Hat

Other Important Information

• Label all clothing with your child’s name
• We are not responsible for lost items
• Hair should be smart and appropriate; long hair must be tied back. No extreme fashion haircuts or dyed hair
• Jewellery: Only simple watches and one set of small stud earrings allowed
• Make-up, nail polish, and temporary tattoos are not allowed
• Mobile phones and smart watches must be handed to the teacher at the start of the day for safekeeping.
