School Day

Acorns (Pre-school) & Butterflies (Nursery)

• Full-time: 8:40am – 3:10pm (35 hours/week, including breaks)
• Morning session: 8:40am – 11:40am (15 hours/week)
• Afternoon session: 12:10pm – 3:10pm (15 hours/week)
• Lunch break: 30 mins for full-time children
  (Pre booked lunch club for Acorns is available from 11:40am to 12:10pm)

Reception

• School day: 8:45am – 3:15pm (32.5 hours/week, including breaks)
• Lunch break: 1 hour and 15 mins (11.30am - 12:45pm)
• Additional breaks: Morning and afternoon independent time for play-based learning

Year 1 and Year 2

• School day: 8:45am – 3:15pm (32.5 hours/week, including breaks)
• Morning break: 15 minutes (10:15am - 10:30am)
• Lunch break: 1 hour (11.45am - 12:45pm)

Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6

• School day: 8:45am – 3:15pm (32.5 hours/week, including breaks)
• Morning break: 15 minutes (10:30am - 10:45am)
• Lunch break: 1 hour (11.45am - 12:45pm)

General Information

• Gates open at least 10 minutes before the start and end of the school day.
• Gates close at 08:50am, children arriving after this time will need to come through the school office. 
• Children should be in class for registration at 8.45am.

School Closure 

 If the school needs to close for any reason, the school will notify Parents/Carers via email and text. This website will be updated regularly, alongside our social media, to keep our community informed. Wherever possible on a 'snow day', the school will make the decision by 7am that morning in order for Parents/carers to make other arrangements for the day.
